Evaluation experience

As well as continuing to lead major evaluation, John has continued with developing tools and approaches to conduct rigorous evaluations in complex environments. In 2008, John rewrote the ALNAP Real Time Evaluation Guide and is currently working on a broader guide on humanitarian evaluation.

WFP Evaluation Report

2006: Completing work as the Evaluation Advisor and Coordinator for the Tsunami Evaluation Coalition included co-authoring the synthesis report and related journal article (one of the top ten downloaded Disasters articles in 2008) as well an expanded summary of the synthesis report.
