These two panoramas show views of the Himilayas taken while on an evaluation visit to West Sikkim.

The tirst .

The first panorama shows the ruins at Rabadenste. This was the second capital of the kingdom of Sikkim. The king rules the state from here until 1814. The Pemayangtse monastery can be seen from the site. Pemayangtse Monastery is the premier monastery in Sikkim. It was built in the 1700 and follows the Tibetan Bhuddist tradition. The top floor of the temple houses the Zangdoplariab, a vision of a may layered heaven carved from a single block of wood.
